This course is designed to train students on how to set up and manage an exploration and mining camp. Aspects of site selection, camp design, camp construction and camp management are considered. Logistics aspects such as fuel handling, hygiene and sanitation as well as health care are considered.
Bench marks for the setting up of the camp are highlighted.
